アメリカのトランプ大統領は、攻撃の応酬が続くイランとの対話について、条件次第では応じる可能性があるとの考えを示しました。

トランプ大統領は10日、FOXニュースの電話取材に対し、「イランが強く交渉を望んでいる」と明らかにした上で、「条件次第だ。もう話す必要もないかもしれないが、可能性はある」と述べ、イランとの対話に応じる可能性を示唆しました。

また、新しく指導者となったモジタバ師については「彼が平和に生きられるとは思えない」と述べたということです。

一方、アメリカのヘグセス国防長官は記者会見で、10日に行われるイランへの軍事作戦について、「これまでで最も激しいものになる」と述べ、攻撃を強める姿勢を示しました。

アメリカ・ヘグセス国防長官:
敵が完全かつ決定的に敗北するまで、われわれは手を緩めない。きょうの攻撃はこれまでで最も激しいものになるだろう。

ヘグセス長官は軍事作戦の終結について、「長期化させるつもりはない」と話しましたが、「最終的な判断は大統領が行う」として明言を避けました。
